Drupal Jamaica is dead... Long Live Drupal Jamaica
I think the community is somewhat dormant, Drupal development is however still very active in Jamaica. We just need someone to restart the discussions and the meetings. I’m just a lurker living in Trinidad & Tobago :-D

Hey @adrian1231 yea, the group has been dormant, but certainly I'm up for a meetup if there are a couple persons here who would also be up for it. Just maybe not Chilitos this time. Coincidentally there's a Python Jamaica meetup at Start-up Jamaica this evening (Startup Jamaica, 7th Floor, 32 1/2 Duke Street JN Building ... March 30, 2016) I know some people there who have been to our Drupal meetups so I can try to ask and see who else is also up for it.

If you guys can have meetups on a day other than Thursday I can swing it.
As some of you may or may not have known some developments have occurred over the past couple of weeks.
Was recently appointed the senior advisor to the Minister of Science, Energy and Technology Dr. Andrew Wheatley. This represents a unique opportunity for the community as there is now someone at the decision making level who is directly from the ICT industry who came from the weeds. Great things can happen and we will be working to make this so.

Drupal Meetup
@varunity Yes, I would definitely attend a Drupal meetup. Just need a definite place, time and date. I am free any day after 5:40pm (except Sunday).
I am actually surprised that programmer meetups are "a thing" in Jamaica. I have been searching for one for awhile now but all I have been able to find were starup camps.

OK, how about a Drupal meetup next week then? Thursday is out, how's Wednesday or Thursday evening at 6:30pm for everyone?

Honestly, considering that I do not know any of you guys (personally or otherwise), a simple short meet and greet would suffice for me.
I am free pretty much every week day after 6:30pm.
On the weekend, any time after 2:00pm
