Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Howdy Yall! Just wanted to post here to gauge interest on releasing a headless calendaring application we just built, called UniCal.

We have it up and running on a few university websites out in the wild already (https://calendar.howard.edu, http://udallas.edu/calendar/ and a few others currently in dev). Essentially, it lets you house all events in one place (a drupal install) and create multiple calendars that can prefilter by taxonomy/etc, and be embedded via JS on any site. Some more info/etc is available here: http://staging.idfive.com/unical/ though that site is still a work in progress as we suss out documentation/etc, so please be kind!

Anyhow, I'm posting this to gauge interest if folks think something like this would be worthwhile going through the (seemingly lengthy) module approval process to get into the contrib ecosystem, and more importantly to see if any of you fine folks have time to help us make that happen. Especially looking for some folks who have experience getting modules through community approval, and folks to help test/modify the documentation.

Code is open source, and currently in sandbox here: https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/rogerseyebyte/2648414
and here: https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/rogerseyebyte/2653140

Input/commits/patches welcome, especially around documentation if you find yourself interested.

Cheers, and look forward to hearing your thoughts as a community!

Looks very interesting!

Is it only for Drupal 7 (like, not for D8), or I'm missing something?

Great job in any case :)
