Hello. Can anyone offer tips or examples of how to integrate the Commerce module (Drupal 7) with the FrontStream credit-card payment processing system (http://www.frontstream.com/secure-electronic-payments/ ) ? Is there an existing Drupal module for this?
My organization is relatively new to using Drupal and we're looking for how to accomplish this integration other than by writing a custom module. We are limited to using FrontStream for payment processing; we can't use a different platform.

Merchant Service matchup to Drupal
Looks like Frontstream is using "Fasttransact" as a gateway for a shopping cart. I don't believe there's a module for Fasttransact to use with Commerce. I looked at Ubercart also, but I don't see a premade option there.
There is some old dialogue about Fasttransact under Ubercart. Are you locked into Commerce as your shopping cart? I know that some drupal packages lock into one shopping cart or the other and it's difficult to change them out.
Can you confirm that Frontstream is using Fasttransact by calling Frontstream? I can poke around some more but more info from Frontstream would be helpful. There doesn't seem to be much API, or gateway info on that website you linked.
I've been down this path with our nonprofit. I ended up coding our own module for the specific gateway of our merchant service. This is a path many have gone down reluctantly.
