This month, we will have a presentation by a guest speaker, Mike Gifford, who is the Drupal Core Accessibility Maintainer. He will talk about, and lead a discussion on, web accessibility as it applies to Drupal 8.
After last month's meeting, we tried out Queen Anne Beerhall, which was a pleasant change from the usual Buckley's experience. We should consider going there again this month.

Meeting tomorrow - please sign up
Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that the meeting is tomorrow, as opposed to the usual 3rd Thursday. I see there are only a few signups. I know many of you don't use the signup option, but it's very helpful for us to know how many chairs to set out.
Thanks!

Meeting tonight!
Don't forget this month's SeaDUG meeting is tonight, not next Thursday. We'll have a presentation about accessibility in Drupal 8 by Mike Gifford, Drupal Core Accessibility Maintainer. We'll also talk about the recent beta release of Drupal 8.2 and what features and improvements it includes.
Any TechComm folk attending?
Hi there,
Our company is considering moving out of Author-it and going directly to Drupal. I'm just wondering if there are any local SeaDUG members who are attending the meeting and/or have successfully migrated to Drupal as an authoring/publishing environment for their content.
Thanks,
Teresa
Migrating into Drupal
Hi Teresa,
I and several other folks at SEADUG have done many migrations of content systems into Drupal and customized the authoring and editorial workflow to best fit organizations' needs. We'll be happy to answer any questions.
Let's chat at the meeting tonight. Looking forward to meeting.
Best,
Will
Migrating into Drupal
Thanks, Will. Sounds good. I'll be there with our webdev who is a regular member so we're looking forward to talking to you, either at the meeting or socializing after.
