Is anyone interested in starting a regular Knoxville meetup? I know there hasn't been any Knoxville meetings for a long time. I don't know of any available spaces for meetups. It might be good if we could just start out by meeting at a local business.

I am interested in starting Knoxville meetups back up. With Drupal 8 hitting the 8.3.x, there is a lot to catch up on.

It sounds like it would be good to schedule an initial meetup fairly soon! For those who have attended these meetings in the past, is there a particular day and time that worked? My idea is the third Thursday each month, but I'm definitely open to whatever day.
I don't have many ideas for a location for a first meeting. The only place I can think of is Public House on Magnolia, since they have a big outdoor area. I realize though that meeting at a bar probably isn't up everyone's alley. If anyone has an office space we could use, that would probably be best. I'd be interested to hear your ideas.

I'm in! If it's more than just a few people, maybe setup a survey monkey link with day/place questions to see when the majority are free to join. I like Public House too for an informal meeting, but you wouldn't get a projector for any demos and it may get smokey outside.

I spoke to the lady at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at 1100 Liberty St, Knoxville, TN 37919. She said it is possible that we could get a monthly space at no cost as long as their students could also attend. The rooms there are great and this location could possibly be use for a Drupal Camp later. Great parking and not hard to get to.

Has to be evenings for me
I work in Oak Ridge so I can only attend in the evenings after 6:00pm. I'm assuming this group covers a pretty wide area.
I live in Chattanooga, but would love to attend
If it's scheduled so that I can get there. My firm is working on a project with a large employer that has employees in both Knoxville and Chattanooga, and we will be training them in both development and site building and I would love to attend some of the Drupal meetups with them as they are getting started.
Not a requirement, just a request. It takes me about 2 hours to drive up.
