Here are the minutes from the AGM that happened on the Saturday afternoon of the DrupalCamp Dublin:

Chairperson Mark Conroy takes the stage to talk about the last year: New Drupal Ireland logo designed, explains how the committee had monthly meetings and weekly meetings as we were approaching the DrupalCamp dates. He thanks all the sponsors of the Camp and mentions the changes he had in the committee during the year (Chandeep replaced Luis) and thanks both, and everyone else.

Secretary Ricardo informs about the minutes of the year and a half. Drupal Ireland presence in DrupalCon Dublin in the shape of pop up banners with the brand new logo, a stand, a welcome party organised by Drupal Ireland with a boat banner also using the new logo, and Trivia night (thanks Stella for writing all the questions).

The Secretary talks about DrupalCamp Cork, very well organised by Ruairi O'Reilly. The Camp was very good in terms of sessions and discussions, but not many people attended. The Committee decided then to improve promotion for future camps and go back to a developer only type of camp.

This year it was decided to reduce the camps to one a year. The committee asked in groups.drupal.org and 100% of the replies said yes to this idea.

Mark Horgan designed the new website for DrupalCamp Dublin, Promotion took shape in the form of stickers (given away at meetups in the UK, DrupalCon Vienna) trying overseas attendees .

The committee made an effort on having sessions submitted and approved before DrupalCon Vienna. The response to submissions was so good and the quality of the talks so good as well that the committee decided to have 2 tracks on Friday.

It was also decided during the year DrupalCamp Dublin was going to be free no more: A 20 euro fee, excluding speakers and students.

Stella took the stage as a treasurer. She informed that the main expense of the committee yer was the boat party that took place at DrupalCon Dublin, but ended up being free as there was a minimum purchase of drinks and the people going there overpassed it.

DrupalCamp Dublin 2017 and the social finger food was an under expense considering the fee and the sponsors. She concluded saying that basically we have the same money in the bank as this time last year.

Chairperson Mark Conroy takes the stage again to run the new committee election. He asks for a variety of candidates and explains how the election happens.

Stella explains that the committee consists of seven people. They could nominate themselves or other people could nominate them as well. Once the new Committee is elected they are to meet and decide roles, with the three key roles being chairperson, secretary and treasurer.

Mark then explains how the leaving committee has been holding regular meetings, hangouts, etc

Stella says that the committee has been planning to organize things earlier during the last year.

Mark asks if anybody want to propose.

Frank, Gavin, Julie, Jochen, Ruairi, David and Peter volunteer

Going once, going twice…

The newly elected committee retires the room to meet.

When they come back Mike takes a photo of the outgoing Drupal Ireland Committee and another one of the newly elected Committees.
