This month, we continued discussing implementations of Jay Epstein's (https://twitter.com/jeppy64 http://jay-epstein.com/) Relativity model (http://jay-epstein.com/relativity/overview). We discussed best practices for Relativity, including how to use the Field Group and Inline Entity Form modules.
The next step is for members of Broward Drupal to create their own site using Relativity, so we can discuss these sites at future meetups as a deeper dive into Relativity and how it can be used to create all kinds of applications.
If you have not already done so, here a Jay's recommendations for getting started in creating your next site using Relativity:
1: Create a Pantheon account (for those that didn't already have one)
2: Spin-up a vanilla D8 site
3: Load our module recipe
4: Load our base theme and create our own individual sub-themes
5: Created a personal "About Me" site, or any other site of your heart's desire, with a few content types.
We had one remote user and seven in person.
