This month, we spent most of the meetup discussing Drupal Relativity and the Paragraphs module. Doug Vann has a lot of experience using the Paragraphs module, so he presented different scenarios for using the module and Jay talked about implementing them using the Drupal Relativity module instead.
Jay had prepared a site with some basic concepts of Drupal Relativity that we used during our discussion to show how some of the concepts that people normally use Paragraphs for can be done with Relativity. The discussion was so interesting that we plan on having round two of this discussion during our next meetup in December.
After the first part of the meetup, Hector gave us an update on his approach for No Code Content Migration. He started the demo migrating users from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. He then proceeded to migrate content from D7 using the Contentout module to D8 using the Contentin module for several content types, including Basic Page, Article (with image) and also custom content types with several Drupal Core field types, including entity references.
