At this month's meetup, Natasha Scott will walk through an almost complete bilingual site (French/English) that was migrated from Drupal 6. She will talk a bit about the change going from D6 to D8, the modules needed for multilingual (very little), and the different places and ways translations are supported. Multilingual is a definite strength for Drupal and it’s as good as ever in D8.
