Welcome to Drupal Saudi Sprint #2

We are going to make Drupal better in support Hijri date.

All you need is a laptop, good mood, and enthusiasm :-)

Coffee and snacks included.

Everyone is welcome; if you've built a site in Drupal, you can contribute. We will split into pairs and work on (Hijri) contrib module issues. Bring your laptop. If possible, install git before coming and install Drupal 8 core and install and enable (Hijri) module. For new folks: you can get a head start by making an account on Drupal.org and taking a look at the Hijri module page: https://www.drupal.org/project/hijri

In this sprint, we worked on these issues:

  • #3085905: Import I18N_Arabic package using composer to use it for Hijri purposes.
  • #3085907: Allow altering Node published/updated date to show Hijri data for the same purpose of Hijri module on D7.
  • #3085909: Allow altering Comment published/updated date to show Hijri data for the same purpose of Hijri module on D7.
  • #3085912: Create new table to manage the correction date value per Hijri month.
  • #3085913: Create Drupal service for Hijri purposes.
  • #3085914: Add (correction) Hijri date in module settings.
  • #3085917: Create block to show today date in Hijri
  • #3085918: Create new field type for Hijri date
