The third Thursday rolls round again and its time for another evening of Drupal down the pub.
We'll be meeting on Thursday 21st November, this time it was suggested we head back the Eagle in North Laine where some of the old meet-ups took place.

Come talk about our favourite CMS.

Hopefully there will be space for us, Please sign up so I can get a sense of numbers.

Future group planning

You may have heard rumours that the group is dying.
I have to admit, it hurt more than a little hearing that at another meet-up.
The group and the pub meet ups are something I value, which is why I stepped in to keep arranging the meet-ups when Jeni left. However I can't keep the group going on my own (note: I'm not officially an organiser of this group), if the meet-ups something of value to people here, I'm going to need the groups help to keep it going, if that is what people want.

I'm happy to keep announcing the meet up in the group. I can share access to the Twitter account I created. If someone wants the group on Meet up and is happy to sponsor the £78 year cost, I'm happy for them to do that. I need help spreading the word, RT the @drupalbtnhove twitter when the meet-ups are announced. All help is appreciated.

I'm also open to discussions on the future of the group. Whether we want to do more than meet in a pub. If we'd like to have talks, do a show and tell, maybe even have another go at putting on another Drupal camp, all ideas welcome, especially from new people as this is a chance to reboot the group.

This is our group, so it's up to us to keep it going, or if we'd rather call it a day for the meet ups, at least have a good final one.

Do let me know your thoughts.

Thanks all

AndyB
