Program Introduction:

DDCP is a 4.5 months intensive set of workshops and posts workshops internship days leading candidates to become full-stack Drupal Developers.

Module 1:

HTML & CSS (Duration 15 days, 9 a.m to 5 p.m)
All the modern frontend and layout techniques will be taught in this course. Students will be able to create perfect HTML layouts of Figma-based designs.
Project Gap (1 week)

A sample mockup in Figma will be given to students as an assignment. They will be assessed based on this assignment to move to the next level.

Module 2:

JavaScript (Duration 20 days, 9 a.m to 5 p.m)
Essential project-based JavaScript along with modern tooling knowledge will be taught in this course.

Project Gap (10 days)

A sample JavaScript-based project will be allotted to students as an assignment. They will be assessed based on this assignment to move to the next level.

Module 3:

PHP, MySQL, Database Design Concepts, Git (30 days, 9 a.m to 5 p.m)

This module will cover PHP (both procedural and Object-oriented) with a touch of Symfony (specially the components used in Drupal). Strong database design concepts will be taught as well along with other MySQL-related essential tasks like SQL queries.

Project Gap (15 days)

Students will complete a sample PHP project as an assignment. They will be assessed based on this assignment to move to the next level.

Module 4:

Drupal Site Building (20 days, 9 a.m to 5 p.m)

Students will learn Drupal site-building and data modeling skills in this module. This will cover majority of the powerful Drupal features without writing any code.
Project Gap (6 days)

Students will complete a sample Drupal project as an assignment. They will be assessed based on this assignment to move to the next level.

Module 5:

Drupal Theme Development and Theming (12 days, 9 a.m to 5 p.m)
This module will cover creating new Drupal themes and altering Drupal output from modules needed during Drupal's day-to-day operations.
Project Gap (6 days)

Students will be given a Figma design to build a new Drupal theme based on that.

Module 6:

Drupal Module Development (20 days, 9 a.m to 5 p.m)

This module will cover creating Custom Modules in Drupal. Majority of the Drupal APIs will be covered in this course and a custom module will be built in the end.
Project Gap: (10 days)
Student will be given a sample Drupal module to build as an assignment.
 

Module 7

(optional):
Essential React/Nextjs for Decoupled Drupal (20 days 9.am to 5 p.m)

This module will help students know enough React and Nextjs to use Drupal as a data backend for decoupled applications.
Project Gap: (10 days)
Students will be given a sample Decoupled Drupal project as assignment.
