I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a meetup on the penisula. For me it is hard to get up to the Berkeley Group since I live the South Bay, and I know others down there who also can't make it.
But the company I work for, which is in Burlingame (google map) just south of the airport, is willing to host Drupal meetings in our Bay facing, fifth floor conference room. We can talk Drupal, watch the planes land, and hopefully the location is not too far north to discourage South Bay Drupalers, nor too far south so that SF Drupalers don't come.
We are willing to sponsor drinks and pizza as well. Hoping to find another Drupal hotspot near the bay were 7 million people dwell.

I'd be interested. I was trying to make last week's meeting, but berkeley is just a bit too far for a mid-week meetup. I'm south bay too (mtn view, cuptertino).

Trying to find another option
Personally I can't make that meeting as I will be in Santa Cruz on Sunday. I was hoping to see if there was interest in a Penisula meeting, but there does seem to be a crowd at the Aug 12th meeting. You should highlight it a bit more here on groups.drupal.org.

Something on the Peninsula or south would be great. We're feeling pretty lonely as Drupal developers in Santa Cruz. I plan to make the next Berkeley meeting, but it would nice to meet other Drupal developers without having to drive so far.

I can tell everyone at the bay area Drupal meetup crowd to come over. Currently we're meeting Sunday's at 2pm every month or so, if that works.
