I am using the quiz module. The thing, I want the user to enter the answer to a short question which will be matched and the "Next" button will become active only if answer is correct. The quiz should only allow a user to proceed only if the answer to the question is correct. How do I do this? And I need to do it fast, before 9th March. If have done a bit of module development in Drupal, so just basic directions will do. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

I needed the same thing, and posted an issue & patch (for 3.x) here: #591796: Don't proceed til correct, and show feedback immediately.
Looks like it's been accepted for 4.x, though I haven't had a chance to check that out yet.
