The next Brisbane Drupal meetup is here again and we are excited to announce a presentation by Chris this month.
Chris will be presenting three mini-talks to demonstrate some of the more interesting Drupal things he's been working with of late:

Sending notifications to your site users, not just with email but also via SMS and even extended to other communication tools such as twitter.

Charging your users for access to your site — how making recurring payments is about to become easy with the new soon-to-be-released module Chris has written — "Ubercart Recurring Subscription Manager"

Drupal hosting — Aegir, and if there's time we might also try and take a look at other high-performance Drupal hosting factors eg tools such as pressflow and mercury
