Any experience(s) with Apache TrafficServer as a Pound proxy alternative?

I run pound + varnish 'faux CDN' + pressflow6 on apache2 w/ php53 via mod_fcgid.

generally works great -- though, some lack of flexibility wrt SSL handling by pound, especially compared to mod_ssl.

1 option is to front-end with a 2nd instance of Apache2 just for the SSL handshake, but seems a bit fat/overkill.

has anyone "in here" had opportunity to play with Apache Traffic-Server (http://incubator.apache.org/projects/trafficserver.html, http://incubator.apache.org/trafficserver/), as a front-end proxy in front of Varnish/Pressflow yet?

i'd be curious to hear any experiences, thoughts, opinions, etc.
