does anybody have a location in basel?

hmmm.... I personally don't have a location. Perhaps the Agenda for our maiden meeting might give us an idea where we want to meet. What do you guys think? for example if it is for a casual familiarization with each other.... then probably a local starbucks might be a good idea or a park on a nice sunny day. Just my idea. And if we have an agenda e.g Discussing the features of the version 7, then perphaps Ralphael's place at Zofingen will be a good, since he already has a place for a well organized meeting. These are just contributions.

Hi, I'm in Zurich but it's not far away. Do you have an intended language for this group, specifically English vs. Deutsch or Francais? Perhaps this reflects your makeup and intended audience - expats, locals, or perhaps an international mix of both.

No I think it should be in Basel, else it wouldn't be the Basel DUG. And there is one in Zürich, which I'd like to attend, but it's just too far to be there regularly, in Basel though would be just fine.
Why not start at Starbucks. I actually contacted a company, that might be interested to see if they are willing to sponsor a location... let's wait a couple days, else we'll fix a date for starbucks.
about the language... english is just fine with me, as basel is international... german is fine too... french ... uhm.
