As many users of Quiz know, my ability to quickly contribute code to Quiz has dwindled spectacularly in the last eight months. At this point, I have time only to make rare changes to the code.
On the other hand, Falcon has taken the lead on Quiz 4, and is contributing on a daily basis. Further, he has a long-term interest in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Quiz module. He has also expressed interest in being the official maintainer of the project.
I am stepping back as the maintainer, handing things over to Falcon, who will continue to move the project forward (in a far more timely manner than I am able to do).
Congratulations Falcon!
Of course, I will remain a contributor to Quiz; I will, however, not be making the long-term architectural decisions. (And I will continue with my other modules, as well as trying to direct some time to fixing D7 core bugs!)

Congratulations Falcon! You've been doing a great job leading the project. I'm glad to see it made official. :)
And of course thanks mbutcher for your excellent leadership and laying a strong cultural and architectural foundation for the continued success of the project.

Thanks
Thank you for your kind words, and for entrusting the leadership of the project to me. mbutcher have been leading the project in a very democratic way, been supportive and made it easy for others to get involved in the project. I will try to do the same, and I hope the community will continue to support the development of the project.
Right now vegardjo from the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine, sivaji and I are cooperating on a last all out-out effort to finish Quiz 4. We hope that more people will join us by testing the module and contributing issues and patches.
We're looking forward to releasing Quiz 4 and start focusing on Quiz 5.
Congrats
congrats Falcon, and thanks for all your work so far Mbutcher, very cool :)
