May or June meetup?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I know that it's late in May but I propose that we gather sometime soon.

We've been gathering in conference rooms a lot lately. While I don't have an allergy to them, perhaps a start of summer social gathering? Just a thought. I would gladly host unless a public location is preferred.

I'll be back in town from June 26 to July 15, I would love to stop by and hang out... that may be the July meetup though.

Cheers,

I'm both for a May / Early June meetup, and for a gathering while Lin is back in town.

There was some interest in establishing a set day for monthly meetups (e.g. Second Wednesday, Third Friday, etc.), so it would be easier for folks to schedule around. I like the idea of a more social gathering sometimes, maybe every other meeting. We could alternate spaces, or I can always book a room at the Law School if nothing more interesting is available. Any thoughts?

Last night it was discussed that the second Wednesday of every month would be good for a set meeting. Any strong opinions for/against it?

I recommend that we have a social (not in a conference room) meetup on Wed 09 June at 7pm. Suggestions for locations would be great and will depend on the size of our group.

I also think that we should have another meetup in early July, say Wed 07 July, where we can show off stuff. (Lin, I figure that you might have something cool to share?)

Thanks for organizing!

I really like the second Wednesday idea. Alternating between social and demo sounds like it would be a good thing.
