User group meeting

Our (belated) meeting this month will be another social meeting rather than a presentation.

Come hang out with fellow Drupaler's, find out how you can contribute to drupal (how the issue queue works, cvs checkouts, patches, etc) and maybe do a little hacking on the new drupalcampwi site at the Vintage (529 University Ave).

Hope to see you there.

Sounds like a good way to make myself get caught up on my modules' issue queues... I'll try to make it! Thank you for picking a place downtown.

Looks like tomorrow, June 10. I really wish g.d.o included that in the notification emails automatically.

Yes, it would be nice if there was a consistent format for communicating the meetings clearly.

When there is a meeting, I would be very grateful if the following was included with any
meeting announcements:

Event: Drupal Monthly Meeting - Social, No Presentations
Date: Thursday, June 10th, 2010
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: The Vintage (www.vintagemadison.com)
529 University Avenue
Madison, WI 53703-1909
(608) 250-0700

I have not made meetings in the past because I was confused as to when the meeting actually took place.
I realize that this is a casual force of good will to hold and organize this Drupal group. I believe that the turn out for these meetings would be
greater if they were announced with a week notice and listed the Event, Date, Time and Location. If this could be done I would buy the organizers of the group a beer! :)
