Hi,
I am interested to create an option where users could add money to an account they could use to pay for the site content or in other sites.
What I am lookin is if there are some "product" where the user could select the value they will like to pay, or something similar.
We are ok with programming, just need to point us in the right location.
Regards,
Luis

I dunno the details involved
I dunno the details involved in creating escrow accounts for customers... would be worth looking into. But it seems you could just establish a form of currency on your site using the Userpoints module (integrated w/ both e-commerce and Ubercart) and let folks purchase points for their account and pay with them at checkout.
Paying for content in other sites? Now you're just talking about PayPal, in which case I can't say it will ever be in your interest to clone PayPal. : P If it's just a small set of affiliated sites, you could create a web service where points are deducted from their account on your site when they try to check out through others' sites.
Userpoints do not work with current ecommerce
Seems to need Payment module, not longer part of ecommerce
My apologies... worked last
