In drupal 7 how to fetch data like student records... like if a student enters their name or rollno their details comes like Name,Rollno,Regno,Address, result etc....
I will follow your question for the reply, as per my knowledge we have to write a code in php to fetch the data from the database but how to fetch the data in drupal form is a question for me too.
And I'm still not able to find a good module for form designing in drupal. If someone knows about any module for form designing kindly send me the link.

with the help of this you can arrange your form fields easily via drag and drop functionality.
As Rajeev asked for more elaboration, I think Praveen wanted to fetch the records (like Roll No., Regn No., Address & results etc.) on the basis of Student Name & Roll No. into the form.

I am trying to create a drupal site for finance industry. It requires extensive user submission in webforms displayed in tabulated form.
I have tried few alternatives like "Webform Table Element" and "Webform Matrix Component". My problem is that even after installing and enabling the components do not show up either while creating content type or adding content. I am fairly new with drupal and I think that my site can be built with drupal. Need help for such petty obstacles. Anyone who can guide me through these turns. Else I will have to custom code which will be an unnecessary pain.
