I am using Quiz 6.x.3.5 and have created a quiz with short answers. I found that when rescoring the quiz that the total score does not updat nor the quiz report on the user node. I was able to edit the score manually in the database table but cannot find where the data for the user node quiz report comes from to edit those tables for example:
You got 4 of 6 possible points.
Your score was: 67%
This is the text from the user node quiz report.
37 06/23/2010 - 10:03 06/23/2010 - 10:11 100
This is from the quiz node report. Can anyone help? I would like the quiz results to upate when rescored. Or if anyone knows what table the user node report comes from....

This should be fixed in Quiz
This should be fixed in Quiz 4. You can try the quiz 4 module. It should be at least as stable as Quiz 3.5.
(Note: Bug reports should be filed in the quiz issue list, not here)
Another question and thanks
Upgrading to quiz 4 solved the problem I was having with the score update. The other question that I have is: Is it possible to create a short answer question or multiple choice and have the user choose from a drop down list?
Not yet
You want to create a multiple choice question, but let the user choose the answer from a drop down list instead of clicking on an alternative? It isn't possible with the questiontypes we have today. There is drop down lists in the matching question type, but it doesn't work the same way.
(Creating such a question type wouldn't take too long though. Maybe 30 - 40 hours.)
Drop downs
Not sure if I explained myself correctly. What I would like to do is create a question based on an image and have the quiz taker choose from a list to identify the image. I have done this with short answer but the variations of nomenclature cause potentially correct answers to be graded as incorrect. I don't want to have to go in and manually score the quizzes. I would prefer to load the choices into a list and allow the taker to choose from list. Based on my limited experience with the current module I don't think this is possible but can't hurt to ask. Thanks
