The idea of these new quiz results are great, it enables users to create quizzes on their sites which have a range of goals as opposed to having one goal when taking the quiz. Configuring tests to use this, is confusing, and maybe even broken. There should be an easy to define path to create quizzes with result options instead of pass fail.
Quiz results are a wonderful idea, and has great use cases such as personality tests and for psychological grading. (who woulda thought you could use quiz module for that.) But, the bottom line is something here needs a second look, and at the very least we need detailled documentation on how to use result options.
What are your ideas on how to change result options so that they are easier to configure?

After digging down in old
After digging down in old posts, I have figured out the current implementation of result options. There needs to be help text that explains how they work, or a better javascriptified ui for them. And these should definitely have a handbook page or something in the online documentation. additionally there should be some kind of text to clarify this use for result options, as its tricky to figure out.
Result options will return an answer for a range of results, or if your pass rate is at 0 you can use them as a personality test where you can specify particular answers to questions belonging to a particular personality. Once you can figure out how to use it, it seems to work great, but right now the usage is fuzzy. Lets get some great ideas in on how to make this more user friendly.

Text base quiz
I have also done the quiz in the form of fill in the blank format. has modified the quiz forms, display etc.
Creating a personality Q&A with customized result
I haven't looked into the quiz module, but after seeing this, will definitely do so.
The result I want is a profile report based upon questions answered. Not a dating questionnaire, but definitely similar features.
Let me know if you know an area that is rich in information.

Quiz Version 1.0 versus 2.0 beta
I've spent some time and I'm wondering if the view capability in the version 2.0 (beta) was a result of your work on customizing the results?
How stable is version 2? Will it be released (or recommended) in the next month? Do you need help in testing it?

the changes in version 1 vs.
the changes in version 1 vs. version 2 can be seen on the latest beta release.
Along with those features we have fixed a lot of the bugs in quiz 1.1. However Quiz 2.0 has out standing bugs which need to be fixed before it is stable.
Currently There is one active co-maintainer (lee20) who is working on stabilizing this version. But additional help is always welcome. I personally have not had time to devote to this project because my work means I have to work on other things and new modules. I welcome contributions especially in the form of testing and patch contribution. Right now we should focus on the stabilization of the module, after which new features can be added to this stable code base.
Hope this helps, and inspires more people to contribute to keep the quiz module alive. :-)
