Seattle Drupal Unconference 2010 Poll
We are in the process of finding a meeting space for an Unconference like the one we had Feb 2009.

We need some tentative dates to get the ball rolling.

We want a safe cushion around significant Drupal events like Durpal Clinic (Jul 9), DrupalCon (Aug 23-27), PNWDS (Oct 2-3).
The last unconference was held in a non-sunny month (Feb) by consensus.
If you need a preference tie breaker, choose the earlier month.

Does anyone want to speak out for or against the dates above?
My inclination is to have the unconference on a Saturday after the monthly meeting.

I think that september 18th or 25, however i will be away on the 18th, so i can't be there if we choose the 18th.
I got an email back from watercooler, and they are interested in talking about hosting the event, and they want to know some dates

if it's much later, like late nov or dec i might be inclined to come down for it ;) i'm just gonna need a big break after moving, drupalcon, and the summit! (but obviously seattlites' votes take precedence!)

update from my convo with the folks at pinchzoom and the watercooler. They would love to host us. venue is free. we are responsible for everything else (other than the projector they have and the internet). We need to give them a date ASAP to get it on their calendar. They are pretty wide open.
So lets get a date and fast.

Just pick one...
It looks like 14 people cared enough to vote above... I personally will be out of the country in Sept and early Oct, and probably not free weekends in August, but that shouldn't stop you from having the Unconf then.
I think whichever day you pick, lots of people will be able to make it, and some won't. So just pick one, and we can move forward.
Someone probably needs to be in charge of the minimal organizing needed (snacks/coffee - sponsors? bring whiteboard pens or big pad of paper and pens to organize session schedule on the day? bring some name tags? publicity?). So just make sure someone who's willing to organize will be there on that date. And maybe robeano can refresh our memory as to anything else we need to organize for an uncamp -- I think she spearheaded the last one.

I just discovered this thread. What's the status of it?
