It's a great idea to start the art group! We're looking for a Drupalikiwi for Drupal.net.nz if anyone feels the creative urge. Kiwi's are a NZ icon.
Note that the fruit that some people refer to as 'Kiwi' is actually 'Kiwifruit' and that a Kiwi is a flightless bird.

Anyway, it's Dmitri who helped me in setting-up the Drupal Art group. I kinda cluttered the Drupal Dojo with my posts and honestly I did not know it's all out of place. That's a newbie lesson I learned this morning...
I think, the Drupal Art Group is also a good place to showcase our creative juices. We can discuss anything that has worth/value for art-critiques. In addition, this is also a good ground to promote Drupal aside from the cool contributed modules, themes, and translations.
Let's give the Drupal community something else to download.
Hey, the Druplicon would surely look great in a Kiwi-drop flavor.

Are you the artist responsible for all the great art work on drupaldojo.com and some individual's avatar's? I'm very jealous of <a href="http://groups.drupal.org/user/4276>SimonR's avatar. After I met him in person I realized that the avatar was of Simon himself and that it was a very good piece of art indeed! :)
