Friday July 23 and Saturday July 24
Rennebohm Hall, University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy
777 Highland Avenue, Madison WI, 53705 (Google Map)

Get the details and the latest info at the DrupalCampWI website.

Join other Drupal users, or wannabie Drupal users for 2 days of interesting presentations and discussions.

We'll have experts, we'll have newbies and we'll have everyone in between asking questions.  There will be pre-planned sessions, but there will also be plenty of time and space to create new sessions on the fly.

There will be plenty of FREE WI-FI. There will be screens, projectors, white boards, physical spaces and food and drinks.  And of course there will be plenty of fellow Drupal users from all walks of life.

What do you want to talk about?  What do you want other folks to talk about?  What do you want to hear or learn or discuss?

Find out on the session proposal page, or propose a session of your own.

Be sure to check the camp website for more details as they become available.

Helping; requests

I'm looking forward to participating in my first DrupalCamp. I'm a newbie, but I'd be happy to help with any non-skilled labor. Let me know what I can do.

Under the category of "What do you want other folks to talk about?", I'd love some help on basic work flow. Like, making changes/updates to my local installation, then uploading the changes to my online test site, and then making them live. What's the most efficient work flow? Most of the books just give instructions on your local installation (MAMP), and the online documentation seems fragmented and contradictory to a beginner.

But I'm looking forward to absorbing anything I can!

Great idea for a workflow session

Hey there pltmdude! Thanks for for signing up!

Blake just started a new thread over at http://drupalcampwi.com/ for submitting session ideas. I copied your idea over there as a comment. Hopefully someone will pick it up and run with it.

Thanks again and see you at DCampWI!

Possibly attending but what are we covering?

I see a lot of proposed sessions but what is actually going to be covered? I'm a newbie in Drupal (but experienced in HTML/CSS and little PHP) So I need to put together a site in Drupal I've started to figure out the theming but need to understand the modules and others more so to add content. Let me know what will be covered in this camp.

Rough Schedule to come soon

blakehall's picture

Hi Jen,

We should have a rough schedule on the site soon. At this point, with the number of sessions we have proposed it's safe to say that they'll all be on the schedule at some point over the two days.

We also will have other rooms available, and a white board for scheduling ad-hoc day of sessions based on participant interest.

Hope to see you Friday.

Cheers,

blake hall

Thanks.
