SO I've got a site that is sometimes excruciatingly slow. I turned on the devel database query log. The best example is a query that accesses the cache table, so it's clearly well indexed. It ranged from 16 seconds to 0.000586987 over many thousands of uses. And it wasn't just one or two at the longer time. Can this be anything in my site? Seems that it must be a server loading issue. The site has a shared account with Dreamhost. Any experiences there?
