There's now an official Haitian Creole translation effort at http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ht
We have one site who is starting work on the translation - the more people we can get involved, the quicker it will go. If you're involved with a site and are (or know somebody who is) interested in contributing to a Haitian Creole translation, please get involved. The Localization Client module (http://drupal.org/project/l10n_client) makes it drop-dead easy (no, seriously) to get involved and contribute.
If you have a Drupal site that has already been translated to Haitian Creole and would like to share your work (via .po files), please visit http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ht/import to import your translations.
