I have installed Ubercart, I have set everything I am sure that I am supposed to, I have uploaded a file to my files directory, YET I still cannot see product in my store!

I really need some help, I have spent more time on this than any any other module (over a week!) Is there a step by step guide that shows you from start to finish how to set up products and make surwe that they are in the store to be bought (the products are digital media downloads) I have my pay pal account and credit card gateway ready to use, all I really need is a set of instructions that I can see and compare against to see where I haqve gone wrong, also is it possible for registered users to upload there own products to sell on the store, if so can any one help please?

As you can guess I am very new to CMS and even newer to Drupal, it seems Ideal for what I need yet I cannot seem to get it to work.

Jimmyborofan.

Don't despair, community

Don't despair, community support is there. ; ) There are plenty of folks working with file downloads that can help you in the forums, and I've run across multiple posts in the past with step-by-step guides. The gist of it is you need upload the downloadable to the directory you specified in your file download settings at /admin/store/settings/products/edit/features. That's not all, though! You have to actually create a product through the normal "Create content" page at /node/add. Once you've submitted the product, hit Edit and go to the "Features" tab. Here you're going to add a file download feature to the product.

It's just important to note that uploading a file won't automatically create a product, nor will it associate the file to an existing product.

Like I said above, community support is incredible in the forums at Ubercart.org. Go ahead and register there and you should get plenty of help.
