Video Hosting / Distribution Question

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

This is regarding only admin / professionally supplied videos, NOT user uploaded videos.

We have a set of videos we need to keep as close to original quality as possible, custom designed for the website, in MPEG4 H.264 encoding - to be as "universally" viewable as possible without any other conversion / transcoding - so we would prefer to not have them tampered with when uploaded (as would happen with YouTube).

We're looking at CDN2 Video (http://drupal.org/project/cdn2) and Video (http://drupal.org/project/video) modules, as well as learning more about others listed on http://drupal.org/project/modules?filters=drupal_core%3A78&text=video

Ultimately, if we need to create an account somewhere and manually host our "professional" videos there, and then just embed / link to them from our site, we can do that. Can anyone recommend a good Hosting (CDN?) provider and/or module that interfaces with it?

Thanks,

I like blip.tv + embedded

I like blip.tv + embedded media field, but if you are looking for something a little more sophisticated than that, I would look at Kaltura (http://drupal.org/project/kaltura). They have demoed their service for me in the past, and it is pretty impressive. CDN2 looks cool too though.

For video module we only

For video module we only support AmazonS3, but you can extent the video API to any CDN network. Its very easy to implement.
