Charlotte Area Monthly Meetup

There have been several Drupal camps over the past few months that have generated some more local interest in Drupal. I've also met a few more Charlotte area folks new to Drupal. I wanted to find out if there would be interest in a monthly Drupal meetup in Charlotte?

I think this is a great idea and something that I have been wanting for awhile. I have talked to others about the idea and it looks like there would be enough interest in starting one. Maybe we could have an open discussion on the idea in #drupal-nc IRC channel sometime and get others in the community input.

We're based out of Charleston, S.C., but I'm occasionally up in Charlotte helping start up our news site there.

We mainly work on media-oriented sites but do some smaller mom-and-pop stuff too.

the classic graphics guys have started a charDUG meetup. but it doesn't look it's on this groups site yet...
