Hello Everyone,
I have looked over the suggestions for meetup dates and would like to propose Friday, Sept 10th at 5pm.
Please let me know if you are willing to attend and any ideas for a topic for the Durango Drupal User Group's first meetup. I can give an overview of a project that I am working on that should be in beta by 9/10. Brian (co-maintainer) has offered the Learning Lab as a possible location for the meetup, I think maybe a less formal location might be better - thoughts?
If you haven't already, please signup at http://groups.drupal.org/durango the official page for this group. I will also be posting this info on that page. Also at groups.drupal.org is a post on meetups - http://drupal.org/node/247952.
I am very excited to meet you all and hope this is just the start of an active and beneficial Drupal resource for the area.

September Meeting
That day and time work for me.
The school district location is ok.
Thanks for trying to get this going!

Tough meeting time for me
I'll be leaving town after work that particular day, but it won't be regular that I would miss future meetings.
As for location, I agree that it would nice to find a less formal place, but I'm not sure if we need projectors, etc. Wireless access and a small side room are all that we'd need. Beer would make it even better. I'll keep thinking, but perhaps the Learning Lab works for the groups first meeting(s).
I'll look forward to the next meeting.

Meeting on the 10th
The 10th @ 5:00pm works for me. Look forward to meeting everyone.

Count me in
I'd be happy to discuss any drupal topics. Recently, I've been using drush to save tons of time, Context for layout, and Features to get views, content types, etc into code. Also happy to talk about theming (d6), organic groups, views, cck, mobile_tools, dev tools/workflow... most anything drupal!
There's a chance I could find a conference room for us, which would allow beer ;-)
Conference room confirmed
Conference room confirmed, if we need it. I'm pretty sure we'll have a projector and wireless; worst case, we can plug into the wired LAN.

Think I can make it Friday
I'm fairly sure I can make it around 5pm on Friday. I have not checked on the availability of the TLC lab since it didn't sound like we wanted to use it. We definitely could not have beer in there! So a conference room or bar might be a better choice.
