I might be interested in presenting depending on the topic. Out of the topics below, Ubercart is my strongest. Most of these topic ideas come out of things I want to learn.
I would love to hear some other topic ideas from MadDUG members.

I could do a presentatiion on managing Drupal sites with Subversion. I could also do a demo of Acquia's DAMP installer if people think that is worth seeing, and I could talk a bit about our experience using Acquia as a web host.

There's a recent patch to drush that makes managing patched modules, development versions, etc. much easier, and it integrates well with version control:

Showed up at 6:03 PM and the CSCI building was locked down and no signs about a meeting on the door... No meeting today I'm guessing?

I could actually use some help sooner - like now by chat or in person? or direct me to a tutorial? - on using node_import. I must be missing some steps... can't figure it out. Perhaps I need to set some things up in UberCart before importing to make the import work?

if you are importing products then you do have to set up your product node with the same fields that your .cvs import file has as you will be mapping the import info to the fields of the node type. Do you have skype set up? I can help walk you through it.

OK - I have a couple of calls out trying to get a space for a MadDUG meeting. Linda has indicated that Thursday nights don't work well for her. Any other votes for a night of the week that works best? I am pretty flexible.

CSCI building (where we have meet before) is available.
We can meet again at the CSCI building. This is the place we have been meeting. We might find a better place in the future but this is the bird in the hand.
CSCI is on 517 N Segoe Rd. Behind the Hilldale Shopping Center. Right next to the Post office.
We have a projector and alright-but-not-great Wi-Fi.
This particular Thursday would not work for me but it seems that Thursday is not so good anyway. Monday the 20th, Wed the 22nd are fairly soon but not tomorrow and not Thursdays. We have been doing general discussion at 6, presentation at 7 although those have merged in recent meetings.

That is great! I just assumed when Blake said he was trying to nail down a time and location that we might have to find new space. I know what happens when I assume :)

Looking to connect with other Drupal users here in Madison. Would like to have someone(s) to either give or get advice and assistance from time to time. I would consider myself pretty technical, but my strength would be my knowledge of Drupal 7 and how it works.
