2008-03-08 17:00 - 18:00 US/Central Event type:
User group meeting
When: 5:00pm-6:00pm (tentatively)
Where: GSD&M Idea City, Omega Lab (2nd floor)
If you will be in Austin for SXSW and you love Drupal, come show it at BarCamp Austin 3! There are lots of rooms and times available, so the schedule is very flexible. There should be plenty of time and space for anyone to present, maybe multiple.
At 6pm, put down those laptops, because it's time to chow down on some top-secret "'Dillo Dogs" courtesy of Wahoo's and drink some tasty beer from Austin's very own Independence Brewing Co. Sign up, let's do this thing!

I'll see if i can attend. Flying back from Drupalcon tomorrow morning. Made some great progress this week in the BOF sessions. Met with Arthur, Roger, Miglius, etc and have some interesting plans for RDF integration between bitcache, mediamover, and asset modules. The result will be a asset management utility with faceted search and intelligent file and metadata storage and display (utilizing imagecache, 1pixelout, jwfklash, emvideo, and other field formatters, etc). This is a great improvement in this space. We will also be porting our affiliations module to utilize the rdf api for mapping the relationships beterrn users and their affiliations (occupational, educational, and organizational). can also discuss the launch of our newest niche social network platform as a case study if there is any interest in this space.

I signed up on schedule
I grabbed 5:00 - 6:00 in the Omega Lab for a Drupal meetup. Sessions are half hour so I grabbed two blocks. Hope nobody complains about that.
The room is pretty small, so plan to get here early. If there are a lot of newbies, I may offer to do my "Zero to Drupal in 20 Minutes" presentation.
