Sorry for being absent, but we were in the middle of a board meeting and we are finishing the final phase of last year's Knight News Challenge contest.
First I want to thank you for sharing our excitement and for participating actively in this effort. Thank you all for your help and advice. It was a real pleasure meeting you at DrupalCon Boston and getting to know better your impressive community.
There's great potential in our partnership and I think we all share the same vision and mission. Let's make Drupal real easy to use. As Dries said in the State of Drupal: "Eliminate the webmaster, eliminate the developer, eliminate the designer and eliminate the publisher." And what I would add to that is: "To empower and engage the citizen."
We will start working on the requirements, but remember that the main idea is for you to run this un-contest, so please feel free to give us your feedback and let us know if we are on the right track, because you are the Drupal experts.
We really appreciate the support of the community and I am sure we will all enjoy this partnership.
