Maine Drupal User Group (MDUG) meets occasionally, sometimes on the second Tuesday of the month, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. eastern.
We will have a Zoom set up for people to connect remotely, and sometimes we'll plan to meet in Portland (when we can arrange a meeting place, and when people are available to come). The Zoom connection will be available for all the meetings, so you can connect remotely even if some of us are meeting in person.
Sign up for the email list at http://pugmaine.com. We will circulate the Zoom connection info. and meeting locations via the email list. If you have trouble adding yourself to the list or have questions, contact Todd Woofenden at todd.woofenden@acquia.com .

Adam Courtemanche will explain how to build a store (or any other content type locator) using only a few modules and virtually no custom coding. You will learn how to tie location information to Drupal content types and/or users so that you can show them on a Google map within your site. Adam will show how Views can be used to show different map types. For example, you will see how to make a form that asks the user for their zip code and a distance, and when submitted they will see any nodes within that distance on a map (with clickable markers).

Any Ubercart users out there interested in presenting at a TechMaine Drupal User Group? We would be looking for a presentation geared toward Drupal site developers who haven't used Ubercart; so an overview/how to/tips and tricks presentation would be ideal.
Contact Todd@techmaine.com or use the contact form, if you're interested. There's no money in it (we'll take you out for a beer afterward!), but Maine's a nice place to visit! We meet in Westbrook, which is right next to Portland.
