Drupal 8 Release Party?

Are we going to have a launch party for D8 in OlyWA? I've been waiting to see some activity here, but nada so far. I'd personally love to meet at a bar or something and celebrate... Thoughts?
Speaking, of, where exactly IS the local "informal" Drupal hangout?
I come from the NYC community, where I was a co-organizer for several years of our camps, cons and meetups, and we always had a bar hangout - the House of Brews - and then a coffee house for our all-day-Saturday Playdays; but I have so far not been able to detect any such animal here in Olympia. Help?
