Are we going to have a launch party for D8 in OlyWA? I've been waiting to see some activity here, but nada so far. I'd personally love to meet at a bar or something and celebrate... Thoughts?
Speaking, of, where exactly IS the local "informal" Drupal hangout?
I come from the NYC community, where I was a co-organizer for several years of our camps, cons and meetups, and we always had a bar hangout - the House of Brews - and then a coffee house for our all-day-Saturday Playdays; but I have so far not been able to detect any such animal here in Olympia. Help?

Hi Kelly Chris McGrath here did you move here? We have chatted a few times in the past. Also a NY transplant. What brings you to Oly?!
I was planning on heading to Seattle as I did not see too much brewing in Olympia. The group has not done a ton of hanging out thus far, but usually Fish Tale brewery is a good spot it is downtown nearby where we are meeting.
Hope to hear more from you and look forward to meeting up to talk some Drupal!

Hi Chris!! It's a long story (and I'll tell it), but it'd be way more fun with a beer and in person. I'd love to catch up with you! I was thinking of putting up an Event for tomorrow here just for the hell of it, and also contemplating going to Seattle. But it'd be more fun if it were the group that's here, bc I don't know anybody here yet - at least I THOUGHT I didn't!! I'm thrilled to hear a friendly voice, let me tell you.
Since Fish Tale is close to the reg meet up place, that seems like a good plan, at least for this one. Do you have your heart set on going to Seattle?
