Hello and Welcome. Here I decided that it was time to create a group to discuss mine and others work on designing a Collaborative Filtering engine. Right now I am currently working on an engine based on Slope-One algorithm and utilizing Jeff Eaton's votingapi.

The main goal for this project is to create a new framework to implement multi user edition using AJAX into Drupal. Although there are some tools to do collaborative edition so far, almost all of them are proprietary software and the presence in the open source world is still scarce. In addition, none of them has been intended to integrate with any content management system yet, probably until Google decides to use writely everywhere.

This group is about the creation and maintenance of the GData module for Drupal, that is a project for the 2006 Google Summer of Code. The module intends to make use of the new GData API from Google to syndicate, insert, update and delete information of a website.

Converting a web site from one content management system (or - ack! - raw HTML files) to another is always challenging. Going to Drupal is no exception. How does one go about it? What are the challenges and what's the best way to meet them? And what about exporting content from Drupal for use by other systems?

This group (formerly Data Import/Export, devoted to one solution) is for discussion of best practices in content migration. How do you manage the process? What are the things that are likely to trip you up? What tools are available?

This group is dedicated to the development of DruTeX, a powerfull LaTeX module for Drupal.

This group exists to document and discuss the design of the SoC 2006 Gradebook project. Ultimately, the goal is to create a solid and flexible gradebook module that will become the basis for Drupal based LMS (Learning Management Systems).

Please keep discussions limited to the gradebook/assignment design and implementation.
