Working group

Community building is more than just software, and more than just people. The nature of online communities is changing, no longer defined exclusively by bulletin boards or superblogs.

This is a group for everyone where we can discuss what it is that makes for a rich and robust community -- from the perspective of web developer, designer, evangelist, organization, member ... always with an eye on Drupal.

This will be the main list/repository for the AJAX Form Builder project for Summer of Code 2006. The original project outline can be viewed here and Avi Mehta (silence)'s application is here.

Views Scheduler aims to provide the users of drupal with the ability to automatically manipulate content on a regular basis.
While the main objective is to be able to automatically publish/unpublish content on a regular basis, once the system is completed it should also be able to set up different views containing different contents.

The project will also allow the administrator to create nodes in which work ready for publication can be queued up in and published when the time arrives.

Groups.Drupal is a small specialized social network, but social networking also refers to a category of Internet applications to help connect friends, business partners, or other individuals together using a variety of tools.
These applications, known as online social networks are becoming increasingly popular as shown at Wikipedia.

As part of the SoC2006 there is a SNA-tool in development, too.

This will be the main list/repository for the Drupal Admin Enhancements project for Summer of Code 2006. A description of Konstantin's excellent plans may be found at http://2006.planet-soc.com/?q=node/146.

In brief, the usability improvements will focus on seemingly minor but important Drupal administration annoyances that could be made easier through AJAX/AHAH:

1. Fast toggling
2. Easy renaming of strings (node titles, etc)
3. Menu editing
