This is the central coordination group for planning the European DrupalCon. This group is responsible for:

1. making recommendations to the Board for the location of Drupalcon Europe 2011 and beyond.
2. organizing and coordinating all non-logistical details for Drupalcon Europe starting 2010. This includes: programming, speaker selection, social activities, the conference Web site.

A number of people and organizations in and around France have shown an interest in organizing the next European edition of DrupalCon in Paris, France. This group centralizes this effort and all the people involved.

Build a cohesive group of organizers to submit a proposal to host a Drupalcon in Wisconsin. Draw off of the wealth of knowledge from local groups like the Milwaukee and Madison BarCamps and user groups.

This groups was about trying to get the next DrupalCon to Maastricht. Paris was chosen instead and drupalCon Paris rocked!

Wir wollen DrupalCon nach Deutschland holen! Dafür sollen wir uns zum Austausch, Planung und Übung zusammenschließen.

Ziel - "Community" in Deutschland auf Vordermann bringen - die Regionale Drupal-User-Gruppen in Verbindung und Kooperation bringen - regelmäßige "Drupal Deutschland" Events abzuhalten - Freundschaften, "Professional Connections", und überregionale Arbeitsbeziehungen stiften.

Kontakt- und erste Planungs-Wikis werden angelegt ...

Drupal Camp India (http://drupalcamp08.drupalindia.in ) - The first ever Drupal Camp in India is scheduled between 8 to 10 August at DAIICT. The venue is Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Technology, one of the best high tech campuses of India.

This will be a 3 day event:

Fri 8th August 2008 - Day 1 : 1 PM to 7:30 PM : Sessions ( 3 Parallel Tracks - 4 sessions in 1 hall - total 12 sessions in the day )
Sat 9th August 2008 - Day 2 : 9 AM to 7:30 PM : Sessions ( 3 Parallel Tracks -7 sessions in 1 hall - total 21 sessions in the day )

This group is aimed at people interested in helping to organize the 2008 Drupal Asia Pacific Conference and for announcing details to the broader public

Fosdem, the Free and Open Source Developer's European Meeting takes place february 6 & 7 at ULB Campus Solbosch in Brussels. Drupal is one of the projects that has a Developer Room on Sunday February, 7 from 09:00 to 17:00, full of nice people and inspiring talks.
