SANDcamp 2011

Who's going to SandCamp this year? There's a large contingent of Los Angeles-area Drupal community members who are going, so feel free to post here if you're looking for co-presenters or rideshares.

We need volunteers for the following jobs:
- Setup
- Registration
- Install fest
- Session timers
- Cleanup
Please contact me or reply here. We could use your help, and volunteering will give good karma!
Be at BP HOC at 8 am Saturday, and stick around after the day is done, and you'll earn double karma!

Kudos to Digitaria for volunteering to organize a Sunday afternoon code sprint, the first official donation, and submitting sessions. Thanks Chuck & the Digitaria Team!

Digitaria has three volunteers for the code sprint: Dale Clarke, Aaron Carlton, and Brandon Lyon.

Also, we've met a few times and have a tentative list of talks from the team:

--Chuck Phillips, CTO - Speaking on Amazon Mechanical Turk
--Nick Davison, Director of Web Development - Speaking on some HTML5 topic, i.e., RDF or Forms
--Mike Dorrell, Software Engineer - Speaking on the Devel module

New SANDcamp dates are here! We had to move our dates because of a booking issue at Hall of Champions. But we are all set and have new dates. It is during NFL Wildcard dates but we do have wonderful TVs and a sports bar complete with beer so you can football and drupal...

1/7/11 from 2-5pm for volunteers to setup - Friday
1/8/11 9am-5pm - Saturday
1/9/11 9am-4pm - Sunday

For 2012, please reserve January 28/29 as Superbowl = February 5!
