Using Drupal for a School Website presentation
Last Spring I gave a presentation at our state educational technology conference on using Drupal for a school website. I wanted to make the presentation available for anyone to use as a starting point if you need to put something similar together. These are just the slides, so if you're familiar with Drupal they should make sense, but they do not work well without someone explain things as you go along.

The past few months I set out to build my first major Drupal project, and this is the result. It's a site that will be used for alumni and current students of Simon Kenton High School in Independence, Kentucky. We expect possibly over 3000 users as last forum site used had about 2500.
The one thing that really makes me happy is how much the users appreciate what has been done. I'm still working to improve some parts of it, as I my skills have improved since I started the site (over 4 months ago) and there are some parts I did back then.
