community meetups

Premise: Outside of DrupalCons and camps, g.d.o user group meetups happen to be fully qualified, regular events maybe worth dosing a bit more followup coverage.

In general, published meeting reviews are not just handy for their own attendees to have but also benefit everyone connected via the web. Where to post the coverage is up to each group; this post is only a thinking-out-loud prototype to offer background and then some specific details on a meetup that just took place.

Hey Chattanooga, I am from Memphis. I am in the middle of our local meetup. Martin(Mardrop) is with me and we are discussing what might help us increase our meetup attendance. How to promote our meetup. Martin says you guys have a very active group. Any ideas.

April 7th at 7:00pm will be our next meetup in New Orleans at Tracy's on Magazine St. It's an informal meeting, we will be discussing DrupalCon Chicago and open discussions on Drupal 7, plus whatever Drupal questions you have. Este cineva interesat sa participe la o intilnire Drupal in Chisinau pe 17 decembrie 2010?

Não querendo deixar de aproveitar a embalagem que o encontro de Novembro nos proporcionou, gostaria de lançar aqui algumas das ideias que temos para dinamizar a comunidade a norte. Queremos ouvir opiniões e incorporar outras visões pois, na nossa perspectiva, todos têm um peso idêntico na comunidade. Isso não impede que por razões de disponibilidade ou de maior à vontade num assunto, um de nós assuma o papel de timoneiro por um período de tempo. Na prática o boné de capitão é de todos, por isso cheguem-se à frente!
