In my drupal 8 website I am facing one issue with the performance. Load test is getting failed because of too many connections comming to the database. I am having separate DB server for database.

For 500 concurrent users around 200 - 300 db connections are comming. For 1200 concurrent users around 800 - 1000 db connections.

As Drupal is a db intensive system, above mentioned counts are ok with its normal behaviour or something weird is happening in this case?

I was looking to other options to move my drupal's database to some other cloud database provider like compose.com Because I am looking for a solution where I can reduce my maintenance of the whole infrastructure.

If I move my database to cloud. Does it impact on my performance?
Has anyone used these cloud database providers?

Im trying to crack it for awhile now without any success.
Im trying to create a new content type with class name, day (checkbox), hours (start - end as list) for each day.

The idea is I have a teacher/manager who sign up his students and than s/he can send mass emails/SMS to the group of a specific class or day or hour (start hour).

I tried to search on google for tutorial without much success, the tutorial I found there are not complete or not explainable enought.
Im tring to do it by code. Im using drupal 7 for this one.
How do I create this content type?

I am working on the development of a tool which would be an SMS based utility wherein the end user will be getting response basis the keyword and the profile of the end user. The application will have infinite keywords and the process of decision making as to which SMS to send / when to send will be done at backend. Can anyone help me as to how we can use drupal for the same, as the user interface, administration and other features of drupal are so good that if a module for above requirement can be built than the application would have great many utilities.

I have a question, not sure where to post it. I suffered a hack to a Drupal site. I suspect that the hacker got in through the hosts admin panel and thereby got access to the root via FTP, the Database, everything. I want to be sure that no malicious script or code was injected into the database. Is there a protocol for checking this, specific to the Drupal DB?

If there is a better place to post this, please advise & thanks in advance.
