drupal update module

I manage numerous Drupal sites, and have run into a kink in my procedure that I'd imagine many others share. Many people have their sites notify them whenever a security update applies to them, and promptly install that security update. Generally that's a good practice, and leads to relatively stable and secure sites.

Just a warning, updating a theme via update.php will erase local.css for that theme. Apparently, this is not a bug... but also, there is no warning. Hopefully that will be rectified soon! Just wanted to let others know.

Drupal update module will download updates from drupal web site.
It's good idea to make it cronable for automated updates.
The main problem for beginer users is update.
They don't want to update site.
They think it take time.

Update module will change it.
