The agenda for the January SFDUG meeting will be a Web Site Case Study and Themes.
The case study we had scheduled with Baldwin Louie has been rescheduled for next month. We are looking at finding a new case study for this month, suggestions are welcome.
Themes Presentation:
Jason from MagicSpark will be doing his presenation on the zen theme and how to setup and configure it.
This will be a great presentation for those of us who are wondering how to use the Zen theme and who have theme development questions in general.

Ok this is the last SF Drupal users group meeting of the 2008! Cannot believe the year is already over.
I am looking for suggestions on this meetup. Send me email john.faber@af83.com if you have something you would like to discuss or present.
A suggestion I got from the last meet-up was Unbercart and Ecommerce on drupal. If someone has a good project they would like to present let me know.
We will meet here at ParisSoma 1436 Howard Street, which is 10th and Howard. We will provide beers, if anyone wants to bring some food for the group that would be more than welcome.

Is Anyone in these groups attending the non-profit tech dev summit in Oakland(California) next month? <a href="http://www.aspirationtech.org/>Aspiration Tech is hosting it and the site is running Drupal. There seems to be some Drupal presence in the sessions too, but just wanted to get a better feel in the groups as too the extent of the Drupal presence and any other thoughts on it.

Patterns screencast finally up!
Chris Bryant's Patterns presentation, given at August's SF Drupal User's Group is finally up. (The Flash version is still converting as I write this, so in the meantime if you see the previous "Swish-E" presentation, check out the Patterns video here. )
Read moreSF and Bay Area Drupal Companies
This is the link to edit this page. Useful for when this is displayed on a Panels page...
This page can be useful in identifying the local Drupal web development companies. I've given it a jump-start, with a bunch of Drupal shops I know of - I know I'm missing a bunch. Feel free to add your own company - or remove it? ;-) PLEASE KEEP IT ALPHABETICAL FOR CONSISTENCY. :)

I'm posting this as a wiki for others to add notes or links - based on Neil's presentation we attended. I would suggest conversation / disagreement / further discussion about the recommendations herein happen elsewhere - i.e. in the comments, etc. :-)
My notes are now up -Neil

OVERVIEW
Read moreMatt Cheney's Swish-E presentation now online
A screen cast of Matt Cheney's presentation on Swish-E Indexer module, from the June SF Drupal User's Group, is now online. Please provide feedback on what could be better (about the screencast; feedback on Matt's presentation can go to him... ;-)). I know the sound is low when audience members are asking questions, which is a challenge....
I got this up and edited in slightly less time than last month. Most importantly I got it done before the next SF Drupal User's Group (July 14th - look out for a post on this).
