User group meeting
Our friend Mike Gifford from Open Concept is in the San Francisco Bay Area and has invited us all to an open discussion about accessibility in our open source projects. Mike is a distinguished member of the Drupal Core accessibility team.

Joining him will be Aimee Degnan and Caroline Boyden.

We'll look beyond merely meeting WCAG 2.1 standards for our projects and see where Open Source and accessibility can co-exist.

Possible discussion points:
* Understanding compliance: A, AA, and AAA.
* What's new in WCAG 2.1?

Zakiya Khabir has been a Drupal front-end developer since 2007. Closely connected to the Drupal community in California, she’s given over a dozen camp talks and trainings, mentored at DrupalCon sprints, and helped organize several camps. At Chapter Three, in addition to her front-end duties, she conducts client training and writes the occasional blog.
