These are a few actions of few given users from the their perspective. The most important part of prototype is the preview bar. This bar is what will be used to interact with both the review mode and the preview mode.

On April 25th, Larry Garfield, Roger Lopez, Frank Febbraro and myself all sat down in a room in NYC to figure out how we would implement full site content preview. The following are the outcomes of that meeting and the direction we are taking for CSI.

The content Staging portion of the LSD project has been in full swing discovery since Drupalcon. Here are the deliverables which you will see appear on G.D.O over the next few weeks.

This project is about building a Digital Asset Server for your enterprise. We will build upon with the existing open source project Mediamosa - http://www.mediamosa.org/ (demos at http://demo.mediamosa.org/). Mediamosa is a Drupal distribution which stores your enterprises media assets such as images, video, and audio. Mediamosa stores media and taxonomy details for each asset (format, duration, height/width, tags, title, description, etc.) as well as rights information about each asset (geo based, time based, etc.).

This project would build a system for managing the publication life-cycle and staging of content on a Drupal site. This system would equate to a “time machine” for Drupal allowing you to see the state of your site at any given time in the past or future. This would be accomplished via publication “states” that are date-tagged and can be moved through a publication life-cycle or workflow.
